The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show

Admittedly, I was skeptical when I heard about this show because it sounded like a gimmick to make an incredibly charming children’s book into a puppet-show on 42nd Street…But then we took our daughter, 1.5 y.o. at the time, and friends and their daughter, 1 y.o., and they ate this show up. We were last row, back corner, and we could see everything perfectly because the theater is a really manageable size. The spectacle revealed an entirely new world to our kiddos, and I loved how enjoyable the cast and puppets were. Way less overwhelming than I thought it’d be, and the 45-60 min timing was exactly what all of us could handle.
