Park On The Left Before A Snowstorm

NYC winter is brutal. The best advice I gave friends this year is now ubiquitous: During a blizzard, park your car on the left hand side of the street. The sanitation plows push the snow to the right which means I want my car on the left —to be able to dig it out a little more easily.
