
I have a vision and I need you to hear me out: apparently some people are paying for cakes that cost $75M and they decorate said cakes with diamonds (I guess the carats are “baked into” the cost?) So I’m thinking this year, instead of spending $120-250 for a cake—which in the city is kind of typical for an 8” that isn’t from Whole Foods ($33)— well anyway, I’m going to suggest this 1-2-3-4 cake recipe, and that we stuff $20 bills inside the cake so our friends can delight in our very expensive cakes. Thoughts? Notes?
