An IYKYK situation. This stuff works, EVERY time. Not just for carpets either. I actually almost exclusively use it on our white fabric couch and it has never failed. One 32oz bottle is ginormous and lasts a lonnnnnnnnng time. **Also don't get it from Amazon/Walmart where it costs almost 4x as much as Target/your local store.
